Musicians Kepla and In Atoms host a music night responding to the themes of Liverpool Biennial 2016. Their music set responds to the fall of Alexandria in the 4th century, where the movement of its citizens left the city in a state of self-renunciation, which led to a culture of ascetism. This narrative runs parallel to the Biennial’s Ancient Greece and Flashback episodes, offering an inspiring night of music.
This event is part of The City is a School, an experimental educational project that involves the Mediation and Volunteer team for Liverpool Biennial 2016. The public programme includes workshops, discussions, performances and film screenings.
