Your support matters

Every donation will help Liverpool Biennial to support the artists and communities we work with, to commission ground-breaking public art works, to enable learning opportunities and to ensure we become a Biennial for Everybody.

Because of people like you we can make amazing things happen. Over the past 25 years we have supported the careers of over 380 UK based and international artists through artist development programmes and commissioning over 530 projects including 34 in Liverpool neighbourhoods. We have engaged local communities through innovative projects such as Mohamed Bourouissa’s Resilience Garden (2018) and Monster Chetwynd’s Dogsy Ma Bone (2016) and have received over 49 million visitors to Liverpool.

Liverpool Biennial is a registered charity (1073956) and we rely on the support from individuals, corporate supporters and Trusts and Foundations. We are immensely grateful to our core funders Arts Council England and Liverpool City Council and to all our supporters who help to continue our valuable work for Liverpool and its people. Individual Giving

Liverpool Biennial is grateful for the support it receives from individuals like you who help make ground-breaking and innovative art possible. Every donation no matter how small helps us to continue delivering the UK’s Biennial of International Contemporary Art and work with the most underserved communities in Liverpool and the wider city region.

We offer several levels of supporter schemes, starting with our Collector’s Circle (from £1,250). You may wish to directly support new artworks by joining our Commissioning Circle (from £10,000) or join our Director’s Circle (from £5,000) where you will get to meet and network with other key supporters and collectors of Contemporary Art, meet the Director and hear her vision for the Biennial at the annual Director’s Circle dinner and get to know the curator for the next edition.

Corporate Support

At Liverpool Biennial we seek out partners to create more exciting, ground-breaking and sustainable work, and make greater impact by working together for visitors and those working and living in the city. We recognise the importance of partnerships, the positive impact on our and your staff and the excitement it brings to work on innovative projects and artworks in the city together.

Whether you are looking to sponsor an artwork or engage with community projects in and around the city, we have a broad year-round programme and a wealth of opportunities for collaboration.

Corporate supporters enjoy opportunities to network with other supporters and businesses in the city and further afield a close relationship with Liverpool Biennial and receive special insight and invitations to unique events, behind the scenes access and private tours. We can tailor your level of involvement to suit your business and provide appropriate engagement opportunities for your clients and staff.
