Dust is a programme of short films by artists and filmmakers on the theme of histories and landscapes. Ben River’s The Coming Race is a hand-processed film capturing a mysterious ascent up a rocky mountain. Artist Basim Magdy’s The Many Colors of the Sky Radiate Forgetfulness unfolds a dark narrative on time, nature and humanity. Artist Rosa Barba builds a sci-fi like narrative around abandoned locations in Subconscious Society.
Another Version of Events is the official Liverpool Biennial 2016 film programme. A selection of films influenced by genres including sci-fi, mockumentary, pseudo-documentary, mockbuster and ethnofiction is being screened every week throughout the Biennial.
