Liverpool Biennial 2016, the UK’s largest festival of contemporary art, takes places across the city’s public spaces, unused buildings and galleries from 9 July until 16 October. With buses turned artworks, a giant laser beam installation in a disused reservoir, 3D printed classical sculptures and an infinite staircase, here’s a glimpse of our ninth edition. The city-wide exhibition is organised as a story told in six episodes, drawing inspiration from Liverpool’s past, present and future.
