Suki Seokyeong Kang’s sculptural installation at Bluecoat, Land Sand Strand, will be activated through a series of movements inspired by the Korean Spring Oriole Dance.

The activation involves three-minute choreographies which can be carried out one after the other by a performer, a member of staff or the audience. The choreographies are outlined in a manual which is available in the gallery, and activation after the opening weekend is dependent on the participation of the audience.
