Experience a one-of-a-kind facial treatment inside artist Taus Makhacheva’s sculptural installation ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) Spa for Liverpool Biennial 2018: Beautiful world, where are you?

Each one-to-one session includes surface assessment, deep cleaning and plastifying masks and lasts approximately 30 minutes. During the treatment, stories of artworks that have disappeared throughout the history of art will be told.

The spa products have been designed by Tigran Geletsyan from 22|11 Cosmetics exclusively for this project. The sessions are conducted by performers following a script by writer David McDermott.

ASMR Spa opening weekend times:
Sat 14 July: 10am–6pm
Sun 15 July: 12–4pm

Please be aware that the Sculptural Signature Facial treatment cannot be performed on people who have active herpes, severe acne, diabetes, are pregnant or those who have recently had teeth work done.
