The Royal Standard are pleased to invite you to ||HOST||, a collaboration between artist Sovay Berriman and curator Laura Mansfield that sees the development of a ‘relaxation booth’ for biennial workers, providing a service for the service provider and allowing the host to become the hosted.

For the opening of ||HOST|| the relaxation booth will be infused with the calming and minimal sounds of the kamele ngoni, a traditional West African instrument. Musician Constance Laisne will be playing peaceful music from 4pm onwards marking the start of the relaxation project. A selection of refreshing drinks will be on offer to all visitors to the space.
