Our volunteer led guided tours take visitors back in time to when the Edmund Gardner was a working pilot cutter, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safe passage of shipping into and out of Liverpool. Using the pilot ship Edmund Gardner as his canvas, Venezuelan artist Carlos Cruz-Diez has responded to the practice of Dazzle painting in a new work co-commissioned by Liverpool Biennial, 14-18 NOW, WW1 Centenary Art Commissions and Tate Liverpool, in partnership with Merseyside Maritime Museum.
