Choreographic Service No.4 – Some Strands of Support is a choreography for hair prostheses in which a designated object, sculpture or statue is cared for and coerced by the touch of hair. For this performance, Liverpool Biennial has hired three days of 'haircare' for a statue of Apollo Sauroktonos, which is part of the Ancient Greece episode, exhibited at Tate Liverpool.
Adam Linder (b. 1983, Sydney, Australia) is a choreographer and dancer based in Los Angeles, USA and Berlin, Germany. He makes works for the theatre and provides 'Choreographic Services' for contemporary art contexts.
This performance takes place on 7, 8 and 9 October, during Liverpool Biennial's Performance Weekend.
