Sir Peter Blake’s spectacular designs have been brightening up Cammell Laird’s dry dock in Birkenhead over the past few weeks. Eager to meet the painters and to get his first look at Snowdrop since she came off the water, Sir Peter came to Liverpool last Wednesday, 25 February 2015. Putting together the Biennial Exhibition at The Old Blind School was a feat: from finding and renovating the iconic venue, to installing the artwork and preparing to open the doors to the public. As part of A Needle Walks into a Haystack, Liverpool Biennial have curated an exhibition of works from Belgian TV director Jef Cornelis at St. Andrews Gardens. The exhibition space contains a library of his films from which the visitor can select what they would like to watch.
